CIC has been closely involved in the promotion of classical music since 2003, and has developed a partnership policy around major events and artists throughout France for all audiences, from novices to experts.

  • Aix-en-Provence Easter Festival

    CIC has been supporting the Aix-en-Provence Easter Festival, which celebrates excellence in classical music, since its creation in 2013.

    Between March 27 and April 11, 2021, the Festival is holding 16 concerts that can be watched online free of charge.

  • Music season at Invalides

    We have been supporting the Invalides music season for some 15 years, and offer our customers the opportunity to attend exceptional concerts at the Cathédrale Saint-Louis des Invalides.

  • Victoires de la Musique Classique

    Since 2003, CIC has been supporting the Victoires de la Musique Classique, an event that recognizes young virtuosos, giving them an opportunity to become more widely known and play to larger audiences around the country.

Sport

As a firm supporter of the values of commitment and effort that are expressed by sport, CIC sponsors several sports federations and acts as a partner to local, regional and national events.

  • Cycling

    Since 2019, CIC has been the exclusive banking partner of the Fédération Française de Cyclisme (FFC), and, in particular, its five major championships, cyclo-cross, road, mountain biking, BMX and track, which take place throughout France.

    CIC also supports several classic races, such as the 4 Jours CIC de Plouay, the 4 Jours de Dunkerque, the CIC Mont Ventoux Dénivelé Challenges and the Bretagne Ladies Tour.

  • Sailing

    CIC is a partner of the legendary Transat CIC transatlantic race. Starting from Brest, competitors in this solo race set out to sail the Atlantic via the most northerly route. The next race has been announced for 2024.

  • WorldSkills

    CIC to partner the 2024 French skills team

    A partner of WorldSkills France since 2008, CIC has expanded its support by becoming the official partner of the 2024 French skills team for the next two years.

    This will see CIC impart its expertise in professional skills for the benefit of passionate young people promoting their occupation through their talent.

    For CIC, supporting the French team means supporting young people and excellence across all profiles and professions.

    A team of 63 young professionals (10 women and 53 men) from all over France will take part in the WorldSkills Lyon 2024 global competition which takes place at Eurexpo Lyon from 10 to 15 September 2024, contesting skills in a wide range of professions, such as aeronautical maintenance, cybersecurity, landscape gardening and masonry.

    1,500 competitors from 65 countries will compete in a total of 62 competitions. More than 250,000 visitors are expected at the event.
